Job description
- Lead and develop a team of 4-5 quality engineers, ensuring effective prioritization, performance
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific, regulatory, and automotive industry requirements.
- Define and execute local quality objectives aligned with broader business goals.
- Drive structured problem-solving activities related to customer complaints, internal quality issues, and audit findings.
- Monitor quality performance indicators, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Plan, coordinate, and support internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Manage customer quality-related communication and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and supplier performance.
- Support production teams in maintaining process and product quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and risk reduction.
- Manage quality documentation, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Monitor and optimize quality-related costs and resources.
- Deliver quality awareness and training programs across the organization.
- Act as the primary quality representative within the management team.
- Proven experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AIAG, VDA, and core quality tools.
- Experience in audits, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- CQI certifications and automotive-specific quality training are advantageous.
